Book Review: For Pet’s Sake, Do Something! Book 1

Welcome,

Having made the decision to renew my exploration into the field of telepathic animal communication, I have found Dr. Monica’s For Pet’s Sake, Do something! Book 1 to be revealing, confirming, and expanding.

Dr. Monica shares her vast and well integrated knowledge with much warmth and heart. You can feel her personal commitment to helping animals as she teaches, among other things, about animal communication, intuitive knowing, assessing how an animal is feeling, energetic healing, healing guided meditations, and spiritual understandings. She weaves a vast array of knowledge into a beautiful tapestry of understanding and practical application. To say the least, we reap the benefit of what she has learned from her own natural abilities, her experience, and her years of study.

Having had some prior animal communication experience, the information presented is congruent and confirming with all that I have learned thus far. Then, it took me even further. A new thing for me was learning the way you can scan an animal’s body for feelings connected with possible medical issues, asking questions, and then feeling their response in your body. Utilizing Dr. Monica’s practical, down to earth means of understanding and assisting an animal friend, anyone of us would be more capable of helping an animal in need.

I feel very excited and enriched by the contents of this book! I feel I have been give a pure gift.

My concluding thoughts.

Welcome,

To say the least, I was thrilled with my first attempt at animal communication. Obviously, I had picked up on some good information which was verified by the animal’s owner and I was encouraged that maybe I really could do this. It gave me the confidence that there was both something to telepathic animal communication and that I had some ability to receive telepathic information.

Subsequently, I was encouraged to continue exploring and practicing this skill. And, thankfully, my friends let me practice with their animals when I got home. Even being very much of an amateur, these beautiful animals have taught me a great deal and I will enjoy sharing my beginning experiences with you. I have experienced their feelings and understandings and sometimes very powerfully. So much so, that they have made quite an impression on me.

Following my teacher’s advice, I started keeping a log. It is very important to do because, once you get into an opened state of receptivity, you are moving into an altered state. Information does come but, once you come back into ‘the now’, it can quickly drift out of your awareness. It is similiar to having a dream and then waking up to start your day. If you consciously focus on your dream, you can remember a great deal of it or at least parts of it. In contrast, if you don’t focus on what just happened in your dream, it can easily drift out of your awarenss. The same is true when receiving telepathic information. We need to pay attention to what comes and make a mental note otherwise it is lost.

The poodle’s touching revelation.

Welcome,

The last bit of information communicated by the poodle to me brought a strong emotional response from the pet’s owner. Tears swelled in the woman’s eyes when I told her that her poodle had told me that the first four years of her life were rough, that she was not treated well, but that it was now great.

The woman, feeling the emotion and anquish of the truth of this statement, told us that her dog, the poodle’s mother, had given birth to a litter. She then had given this one away to what she thought was a good home. It turned out to be a poor place and it took her four years to get the poodle back. She was feeling the emotion of the truth of my information about this situation. And, I was moved too. It was quite a powerful confirming first experience of telepathic animal communication.

Finally, when I asked the poodle if there was anything she wanted her person to know, the words “I love her very much!!!” came up and I felt the dog’s intense emotional feeling in my body. The woman was also touched by this message and regained her composure. She knew she had done all she could as quickly as she could and the poodle was now safely in her home. They had developed a close relationship as you can well imagine.

Tip 14: New experiences can broaden our vision.

Welcome,

Again, just to let you know, I will keep posting Regal’s video at the top of each entry. It simply makes it more visible and accessible. Now, to continue with my first animal communication story.

After our telepathic sessions with our animals in the workshop, each of us then shared what we had learned from them. As we went around the circle and, as each classmate shared, I marveled at the information that was received and that the owner’s confirmed much of what was shared. Not all, but much of the information was accurate.

During this process of hearing what good information others had picked up, I remember feeling quite inadequate and was questioning how much that I had gotten was for real. Everyone else seemed to be so right on. When my turn finally came, I was amazed that I, too, had picked up on some accurate information and more then I had given myself credit for. It was a surprise, quite amazing, and a big relief.

I will share five things that stand out in my memory, three of which made quite an impression on me due to my poodle’s owner’s emotional response to my information.

The first two were rather benign. The poodle did eat out of the silver round dish, not green, and the house was white although, in reality, it did have a brick bottom half.

The poodle did sleep with mom on a big, double bed with a green bedspread. I remember the look of recognition on the pet owner’s face when I said this. She was touched and very attentive to what I was saying.

Regal’s video

Welcome,

I just wanted to make a comment about Regal’s video which will continue to be posted here along with my other entries on animal communication.

Two things are going on simultaneously where my writing cat stories and my various blogs are concerned. My Regal book was published last August and this wonderful video is an extension of this creative process. I offer it here because the video has an important message concerning our animals. While not being a specific example of telepathic animal communication, it contains the message that became crystal clear to me as I wrote Regal’s story. It is an important message especially at this time when our world is becoming more conscious and that needs to include a deepening awareness about our animal friends. Obviously, this is very important to me and I want to share this video with others in support of raising awareness. So, please enjoy this video and let others know about it too.

Secondly, I will be continuing on with my discussion and sharing about animal communication. While spending most of my time writing and marketing my book on Regal, I do continue to have experiences of communication with my new cat, Tux, and will continue to share about animal communication.

I would love to hear how the video touches you!

Blessings, Linda

Welcome,

My break unexpectedly turned out to be a bit longer then planned due to a family situation. Now I will pick up where I left off regarding the things I learned at my first animal communication workshop with Mary.

After Mary’s formal presentation, we had time to practice telepathic communication both with animals that were present at the workshop or from photographs of animals that were still living. All of the animals belonged to people who were present in the workshop. Following our communications with our chosen animals, the owners then verified the accurateness of the information we had obtained from our conversations. Here is the list of questions that we were to ask our chosen animal and what I learned from the poddle I had chosen. This poodle was not at the workshop but at his home.

Putting into practice what we had just spent the day learning, Mary guided us through a relaxation process where we stilled our minds and we set our intention to talk with our chosen animal. In our minds, we silently introduced ourselves, told them what we were doing, and asked the animal if he/she would be willing to talk to us. With permission from our animal, we then asked the following questions.

The telepathic information I received from my poodle seemed to come in words or images that arose into my awareness, feelings, and energy. This is what I learned from my poodle. Whatever came up, I wrote down without trying to think about it or analyze it.

1. What kind of food do you eat? (wet, dry, raw) Combination wet and dry.

2. What does your dish look like? Green two holder or silver round dish.

3. Do you live inside or outside? Mostly inside but I can go outside.

4. What does your bed look like? Mom’s big double bed with green bedspread.

5. Are there other animals in your family? What kind & how many? No information came.

6. How many people live with you? Two

7. What is your favorite game or toy? Picture of a fang pulling on a cloth or rag pull.

8. What does your house look like? White cottage.

9. How is your health? Do you have any pain? If so, where? Good health, no pain.

10. Do you have a job? What is it? Take care of the little ones, like a big brother.

11. How do you have fun? Yes, there is always something to do.

12. What would you like to tell me about your life? My first 4 years were rough but now it is great.

Is there anything you want your person to know? I wasn’t treated well (during the first four years); I love her (mom) very much!!! The poodle also shared: I wear a sweater in winter. Is it red? Yes.

Christmas and New Year Blessings and a suggested perfect gift for the animal or cat lover in your life.

Welcome,

For the past 4 months, I have been sharing much about my understanding and experience of telepathic animal communication. Having come from a place of no knowledge whatsoever to, now, a place of deeper understanding and experience, it has been rewarding for me to formulate my thoughts and to put it all down on paper and share with you. These blogs are worth reading and contemplating and I invite you to do so.

I will be taking a much needed vacation for the remainder of December and will start my next blog entries on January 11, 2009 as I begin to share my initial animal communication stories. These are wonderful stories and much of what I learned from my friend’s animals has been confirmed. I look forward to sharing these wonderful stories with you.

As a Christmas gift idea, if you have animal and/or cat lovers in your life, you might want to consider HYPERLINK “http://www.catacumen.com/” Regal: An Intimate View of One Magnificent Feline for them. This is a true biographical account of my Regal Cat’s life which reveals her vast array of feelings, intelligence, and spiritual nature. The story is heartwarming, softly humorous, and touching. Regal really represents “Everypet” and any animal lover will relate with her and be reminded of their beloved pets. This is a beautiful 6 x 6”, hardcover gift book of 216 pages. You may purchase this book on my website at http:www.catacumen.com.

The most touching moment of the workshop for me.

Tip 11: Consciousness dwells in all things animate and inanimate.

Welcome,

Probably the most touching learning of the animal communication workshop for me was the affirmation of the belief and recognition that consciousness dwells in all things animate and inanimate. Consciousness/soul is alive and well in everything that resides in the universe.

Years ago I had a vision of this great teaching during a meditation program with my first meditation master from India. Just before the end of one of the meditation sessions, I had the inner vision of a shivalingam, which is a representative symbol of God. In the vision, the shivalingam gave way to a galaxy of stars and I had the intuitive understanding rise up from within that God was and became all. It was and continues to be quite a profound experience for me—intuitive knowledge rising up from within. So, to have this recognition of the spiritual essence of animals in the workshop was moving. Mary was recognizing that we are all part of the One.

Furthermore, when I drove home from the workshop and for many days afterwards, I was aware of a shift in my perception of animals. Previously, I had the intellectual understanding of the spiritual essence of animals but, now, I was experiencing it. It was a moving awareness. I could see the difference right in my visual awareness.

In particular, I remember one dog that was leashed and sitting on the sidewalk. When he saw me coming, he paused and clearly focused right on me rather than on my friend who was walking with me. We had a moment of deep connection and recognition. I could see it in his eyes as he focused totally on me. Because of all this, greater knowingness and tenderness filled my heart.

My take on California’s Prop 2 election vote.

Welcome,

Before I continue on with my blog concerning the most touching moment of the animal communication workshop for me, I want to extend my joy and give a hardy salute to the people of California, The Humane Society of the United States, Oprah Winfrey, and all the people who worked on passing Proposition 2. This vote supports treating animals with respect and care by giving them sufficient room to move naturally in their environments as they prepare to offer their bodies for our nourishment. Treating animals with respect is fostered by animal communicators who know so well the feelings and spiritual nature of animals.

Ultimately, this proposition will stop the worst abuses of factory farms in California as a start. It will stop the confinement of farm animals to limited spaces for the duration of their lives. Let me quote directly from Wayne Pacelle’s blog on November 5, 2008:

“Giving farm animals a little extra room to stretch their limbs, to move like animals should, is a small matter for us humans. But it’s a very big thing for a hen who would otherwise be confined with a half-dozen other birds in a cage about as big as a filing cabinet for her whole life. It’s a really big thing for a sow who would otherwise be stuck in a crate so small she can’t turn around. It’s a way big thing for a calf who would spend life chained inside a miserably tiny crate.

Prop 2 will phase out those inexcusable confinement systems and usher in a new era. No state in the U.S. and no Agribusiness titan anywhere in the nation can overlook this mandate: people do not want their farm animals treated with wanton cruelty.”

I, too, feel very deeply about how animals are treated in whatever setting they live. Having become acutely aware of animal feelings, intelligence, and spiritual natures as I was writing Regal: An Intimate View of One Magnificent Feline, I have come to an increased deep sense of responsibility, that we humans have, in the compassionate care of all our world’s animals. The passage of Prop 2 in California is a major step in the recognition of this responsibility. It is a major step in our own developing consciousness.

I totally concur with Wayne Pacelle when he states “As a result, you’ve brought forth a new, more compassionate age.” I say, let us all continue this work of compassionate care of all animals and learn to see the magnificence of all animals as we learn to live more ‘in the present’ with them. This will not only enrich their lives but our own as well.

Author of Regal: An Intimate View of One Magnificent FelineMessages can come in many forms.
Tip 10: Be open and listen without judgmental thoughts.

Welcome,
Continuing on regarding receiving messages from an animal friend, again it is important to emphasize that they will come when we open ourselves, become still, and really listen. Messages can come in many forms and we need to be open to the variety of ways in which animals will share with us. Again this is why it is so important to get our rational thinking minds out of the way.
As we listen, we need to step out of any preconceived limiting notions that we may have so that we can receive what does come. Messages may come, for example, as images, feelings, thoughts, verbal messages, sounds, energy, or as a simply knowing. In my brief experiences in animal communication thus far, I have learned about what animal’s are experiencing through communication of images, feeling the feelings of the animal, verbal messages, energy, and a simply knowing that comes from deep within.

Again, I want to emphasize that we need to cultivate flexibility. We can do this by discarding preconceived notions that we hold and be open to the surprises and unexpected communications that can occur. It is also important to be open and accept what comes up in the communication rather then discarding something that doesn’t make sense at the moment. We need to turn off our old mental filters. All of this will take a willingness on our part, a disciplined effort, and the humility to remain open to learning and discovery.
Another particularly interesting point is that we can talk with either the personality or higher self of a living animal or, if the animal has passed over, with the higher self of the animal. At present, I have had both experiences and will share the contents of several of my practice sessions with my friend’s pets in the months to come.
